Homemade Chocolate Truffles

'Tis the season to indulge in the magic of the holidays, and what better way to spread joy than with homemade Christmas Chocolate Truffles?!

Recipe Video Here!

Picture velvety centers infused with the warmth of mocha, a burst of peppermint freshness, and a decadent chocolate coating – all topped with festive sprinkles. These delightful treasures are perfect for gifting to your neighbors or savoring by the fireplace with loved ones. Let the sweet symphony of flavors dance on your taste buds and make this holiday season a truly delectable celebration.

This is a super fun family activity as well; other than melting the chocolate over the stove, the kiddos can join in by rolling the truffles, dipping the truffles (yes, it will be a mess), and adding the sprinkles! My mom used to let us help and now I couldn't imagine a Christmas going by without making these!

If you're not a peppermint mocha fan, you can use ANY flavoring you like or none at all. My mom makes these with just the coffee and they're fabulous. The base of the chocolate truffle is delicious enough, especially if you use a good quality chocolate chip! I'd suggest trying other flavors like orange, raspberry, coconut, or cinnamon. As long as it's a pure extract, you can use any flavor you like!

I hope you give this recipe a try and it becomes a Christmas tradition for you as well! Homemade chocolates just taste better and that's a scientific fact!
